Rashan Gary to Forgo Senior Season, Will Declare for NFL Draft

Just days after Michigan's regular season came to an end; Rashan Gary took to twitter to announce that he will forgo his senior season with the Wolverines and declare for the 2019 NFL Draft.

Below is the video he posted to twitter.

Gary was one of the first big recruits Jim Harbaugh got as the Michigan Head Coach. Gary was ranked the overall #1 recruit of the 2015 class by Rivals.com, Scout.com and ESPN.

In his three years with the University of Michigan Gary played 34 games, 119 total tackles (57 solo, 62 ast) 23 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks.

He will enter the NFL as high draft prospect, according to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport:

What will Gary's legacy be at University of Michigan? Did he live up to his potential? Should Gary have come back for his senior season? Where will he go in the draft?

These are questions fans are left asking. Best of luck to Rashan and his family on the next step in his football journey.
