Triple plays are extremely rare in baseball.
Even rarer is a 7-2-6 version, which Kentucky pulled off against rival Louisville in the second inning:
How rare is the 7-2-6 triple play you ask? It's only happened once in the history of Major League Baseball: In 1923, during a game between the Phillies and the Pirates.
The Wildcats went on to win the game, 11-7.
