In his first spring training at-bat, Chicago Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta absolutely crushed a 465-foot home run off of Arizona Diamondbacks ace Zack Grienke.
It was an impressive display of power for any Major-Leaguer, let alone a pitcher:
Arrieta has actually had some success at the plate; he hit .262/.304/.415 with two homers, two doubles, a triple and seven RBI last season.
He also holds the record for longest regular season home run by a pitcher in the Statcast era at 440 feet.
